The editorial team at Wreck, the graduate journal of Art History, Visual Art & Theory at the University of British Columbia,* is excited to announce the release of our call for papers for our 2025 issue, ‘Realisms.’ Submissions will be accepted in the form of abstracts on a rolling basis throughout the semester, with a deadline of March 14, 2025. Wreck invites submissions that focus on art history, visual art, and theory, but also welcomes various interdisciplinary approaches, including but not limited to media studies, literature, philosophy, and other related fields. All abstract submissions should be made to ahvagraduatejournal@gmail.com. Confirmations of acceptance will be sent out by the beginning of April 2025, with a publication date of September 2025.
