Call for storytellers!

Greetings UO Campus Community Members!

Do you have a story to tell? Are you interested in receiving personal coaching to help you transform your unique experiences into a work of art? Would you like to be part of a diverse cohort of storytellers co-creating a beautiful and collaborative campus event? If so, you may be interested in this special campus opportunity!

We are seeking students, staff, and faculty at UO who are interested in sharing a story at our Spring event, “Intertwined 2025: Crossroads: Stories of Opportunity, Possibility, and Pivotal Moments,” on May 13th and 14th, 2025. Intertwined is a storytelling event designed to enhance Love, Authenticity, Courage, and Empathy (LACE) on campus that will spotlight 10-12 storytellers, each with a five-minute personal narrative. Every story will be complemented by a live, unique musical composition, performed by a local musician. Once accepted, storytellers will be matched with a personal story coach who will assist them in crafting their narrative and provide one-on-one writing and public speaking mentorship!

If you are interested in becoming an Intertwined 2025 storyteller, please fill out the application here. Applications are due Sunday, February 23rd at midnight.

We ask that storytellers share stories from their authentic lived experiences that relate to the theme. Visit our blog here for more information about us or to view our previous events! Please feel free to share this widely; we hope you will apply to share your story!

Thank you!
