Camp Augusta Arts Director Flyer
My name is Morgan, and I’m reaching out from Camp Augusta, a magical summer camp in the woods of Northern California.
We’re hiring new staff for the 2026 season, and hoping to find an awesome team of people. We’re looking for skilled artists and designers who also have a love for teaching, children, the outdoors, and who are self-motivated and playful!
Camp Augusta offers 100+ activities like circus, ziplines, hiking, horseback riding, archery, mountain biking, and blacksmithing! Our arts program is extensive, including (but certainly not limited to) jewelry smithing, felting, lathe, stained glass, fabric marbling, ceramics, lampworking, blockprinting, and much much more! Our staff training is one of the longest in the country, covering topics that range from child development, communication styles, and skills training. Campers and staff also have an unprecedented level of control over their days, and are given the tools to follow their dreams and enthusiasm.
Our Arts Directors play a key role during the summer. Days are full with teaching arts workshops, training other staff to lead arts activities, maintaining arts materials and equipment, and participating in other program areas around camp. Learn more about the role here!
