Call to proposals for 2018 Making History; LGBT Art Exhibit
My name is Eva Osirus, I work in the Dean of Students under the LGBT Education support services. In celebration of LGBT history month, we have been working on a few different programs to get the 2018-2019 school year started on a note of positivity, remembrance, and ambition. One program in particular is the Making History; LGBT Art Exhibit onThursday, October 25th, 2018, where we aim to give our LGBT and allied students and community members an opportunity to showcase their art.
As for the actual art, this show is completely free form. Meaning you may showcase a physical piece of art, a performance art, or even some kind of art related to make up, whatever YOU consider to be art, we want to display it. The selection process is limited to space, we have 12 available spaces and we would like to fill those positions with as much diversity as possible! The applications are accepted on a bases of your relationship to the LGBT community i.e. how you impact the community or how you may identify within the community! The deadline for submissions are October 12th, at 11:59 pm!
