UpStream Art 2020

To All Interested Artists:

The City of Springfield is pleased to announce that the Call for Artists for UpStream Art 2020 is underway! Please share this news and the attached flier with anyone who may be interested.

Up to five artists will be selected and compensated $1,000 each for designing and painting their original mural, using special traffic paint provided by us. We’re looking for creatives who are passionate about the environment and the local community. Painters of all ages and from any location are encouraged to apply.

Murals will be painted near the Willamalane Adult Activity Center in downtown Springfield on September 10-11, 2020. The murals will convey a visual message about everyone’s role in helping to protect our waterways, and are encouraged to speak to this year’s theme, “Keeping it Clean, from Street to Stream.”
