Mortar Board National College Senior Honor Society

My name is Taylor and I am the Membership Recruitment Chair for the Mortar Board National College Senior Honor Society chapter at the University of Oregon. Mortar Board is a prestigious and nationally recognized senior honors society that welcomes and credits exemplary junior students who are about to begin their final year in college.

As we enter the second half of winter term, we have begun our recruitment process. Therefore, I am emailing you today in the hopes that you will forward the attached nomination form to students in your department who would be interested in joining our society. We welcome nominations from both student self-nominations and professor nominations!

This term we truly hope to offer membership to a diverse set of students in various majors. Therein lies our purpose of contacting your department directly. We are hoping that with your help we can achieve our goal this year.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at mortarboarduo@gmail.com. All nomination forms should be sent to the above email by Friday of Week 10 (March 11th). Additionally, if you are interested, I have listed below some of the benefits of a Mortar Board membership.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
