Studio Individual Assistant

The Accessible Education Center (AEC) is looking for students interested in working as assistants to provide physical supplementary support to a student with a disability in fiber and printmaking areas.   One or more positions are available immediately.

Responsibilities in the FIBERS area include:

·         Sewing by hand

·         Weaving

·         Cutting fabric and foam

·         Lifting and carrying

·         Cleaning up

Responsibilities in the PRINTING area include:

·         Carving

·         Screen printing

·         Line etching

·         Cleaning up

Qualifications:  Strong preference for applicants who have experience in printmaking, fibers and/or visual arts.

$10 per hour, with a range of availability needed mostly in the mornings (tues/thurs/Friday for Print; Mon/weds for Fibers).
