Summer Camp Art Staff Wanted

Art Staff Flyer

Camp Kamaji, a residential summer camp for girls, located in Northern Minnesota is still looking for summer staff.  Even though the weather might not indicate it, summer is quickly approaching and it is time for you to buckle down and find a summer job!

Working at Kamaji is a great opportunity because it provides you the chance to work outside, teach something you love to do, work alongside other like-minded people and truly have an impact on children.  Each summer we hire a staff of about 90 to work with us in the Northwoods of Minnesota caring for 140 campers during two 4 week camp sessions.

We are still looking for people to work with us as a cabin counselor who would also teach in our Art Village focusing on painting & drawing, art & crafts and ceramics projects.  Our campers choose what activities they take each week so you are instructing interested and engaged girls ages 7-15 years old.  We want our projects to be fun, challenging, creative and yet achievable.  This is your chance to inspire creativity and share your passion for all things arts.

In addition to a competitive camp staff salary, room & board we are offering incredible experience and lifelong memories.  The contractual period for most staff is June 8th-August 12th with an opportunity to start as early as June 1st and work as late as August 18th.  If this sounds at all interesting to you, I urge you to check out www.kamaji.com and complete a staff application form: Kamaji Staff Application
