The newly elected Executive of the Associated Students of the University of Oregon are now accepting applications for appointment to various leadership positions to serve alongside them for the upcoming academic year! Positions are open to all current students at UO, and cover a wide range of experience and interest areas. The following roles are open to be filled:

  • Communications Director
  • Programs Administrator
  • Fraternity and Sorority Life Liaison
  • Local Affairs Commissioner
  • University Affairs Commissioner
  • State Affairs Commissioner
  • Legislative Assistant
  • Non-Traditional Student Advocate
  • Sexual and Mental Health Advocate
  • Accessibility Advocate
  • Sustainability Advocate
  • Gender and Sexuality Diversity Advocate
  • International Student Advocate
  • Multicultural Student Advocate
  • Graduate Student Advocate

Applications for the above roles are now open: to apply for them, please fill out the ASUO Executive Leadership Appointee Application. Priority consideration for applications to these positions will be given to applications submitted before 4:00pm on May 20, 2016.

In addition, there are two positions that are open for appointment in the ASUO Legislative Branch. Vacant legislative branch positions are filled by appointment of the ASUO Executive and must be confirmed by a majority vote of the ASUO Senate. The current vacancies open for appointment are:

  • Senator, Seat 03 – Programs Finance Committee
  • Programs Finance Committee – At Large Member
