Call for Artists! Las Vegas International Juried Art Competition
University of Oregon art students and alumni are invited to enter the inaugural Las Vegas International Juried Art Competition sponsored by Jana’s RedRoom Gallery, the largest gallery in the Las Vegas Arts District. All entries are submitted online. Deadline for entering is June 15, 2016.
Make this your time to shine in one of the world’s top destinations! According to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, the #1 reason tourists visit Las Vegas is shopping, and art is among their favorite shopping interests! More than 3.5 million tourists are expected to visit Las Vegas in September – the month the winners of the juried art competition will have their artwork exhibited at Jana’s RedRoom Gallery. Take advantage of this great opportunity to build your credentials, broaden the audience for your artwork, and increase your income.
Juried competition open to all artists
- Emerging and established artists
- Artwork completed in the last 2 years
- Any form of 2D and 3D artwork
- Any subject, no theme for the show
How to enter the competition
- Submit jpeg files of your artwork online to enter
- You may submit artwork in more than one category
- $35 entry fee for each piece of art entered
- All artwork must be available for sale
Categories: painting, ceramics, drawing, glass, mixed media, photography, printmaking, sculpture, and other art forms
Prizes:
- One Grand Prize winner for Best of Show: Solo Exhibit
- 1st, 2nd, 3rd place and Honorable Mention winners in each category
- All winners exhibit their winning artwork in Jana’s RedRoom Gallery September 1-30
- Marketing opportunities to showcase and sell your award winning artwork
- And of course, bragging rights!
Entries close June 15, 2016. Late entries plus additional fee, due June 30, 2016. Winners are announced July 10, 2016. Winners exhibit September 1-30, 2016. Award reception & opening gala happens September 10, 2016.
