Tracktown16 Artist wanted

ETZEL Agency is in search for art students to help us bring Rio to life in Eugene during the Olympic Trials July 1 – 10.

We are looking to create the Copacabana-like promenade on the sidewalk outside a temporary building we will be installing on the corner of Agate and 15th street across from Hayward Field. We will be creating what we will call the Rio Beach Café as part of the TrackTown16 experience surrounding the Olympic Trials. The Copacabana promenade is a pavement landscape – geometric wave – using black and white. If you google it, you will see there is some variation in the designs. This art must be temporary but last the 10 days of the trials and heavy foot traffic. Sidewalk chalk is ideal with sealant to increase the longevity of the art. Art install will happen take place Wednesday June 29 – Thursday June 30, doors open on July 1.

If you are interested in creating this mural please contact Courtney Jensen (ETZEL Agency) at c.jensen@etzelagency.com
