An ideal candidate embraces art and design broadly.  This person is organized, responsible, timely and energized to be a key part of the new Art and Design Community.  They will be modeling and generating programming and engagement with a community of 35 new students and two faculty directors.  This candidate has leadership potential for creating a community – i.e. in classes this student has demonstrated strong engagement in critiques in such a way that invites and inspires others to do so. Ideally we would like a student who can represent art and design beautifully so that new incoming students are inspired to major in Art and/or other A&AA departments.  Selected ARC RAs will reside in a beautiful new building with a maker-space studio and will receive training and leadership/interpersonal skills and room and board + a stipend.
