GIF in a Museum!

Since 2012, Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art (BMoCA) has presented MediaLive, an annual festival that brings together art, digital culture, and technology. In 2017, the week-long series of performances, workshops, and events will investigate the theme: The Void.

As part of this year’s MediaLive festival, BMoCA and Ello have teamed to present an International GIF Exhibition, generously supported by SOVRN. Talented GIF artists Clara Luzian, Gustavo Torres and Trevor Van Meter will select the 20+ final artists that best represent this year’s MediaLive theme – The Void.

Chosen artists’ work will be exhibited in the museum on two screens during the week long MediaLive event.
