Zero Waste Program Seeks Volunteers for Campus Move outs!
THE UO ZERO WASTE PROGRAM NEEDS YOUR HELP TO CAPTURE REUSABLES AND RECYCLABLES DURING END OF YEAR MOVE-OUTS!
WHAT – The Spring 2017 Campus Move-Outs are quickly approaching and the UO Zero Waste Program is seeking Zero Waste volunteers to help during this hectic time of year.
Many recyclable and reusable items end up on the landfill when on-campus residents move away from campus and get rid of unwanted items in a hurry.
Volunteers are needed to staff recycling/waste stations to help divert these items from the landfill.
WHEN – Volunteers are needed for the 3 final and busiest days of Spring 2017 Finals Week:
Wednesday, June 14th – 12pm-5:30pm
Thursday, June 15th – 10am-5:30pm
Friday, June 16th – 8am-5:30pm
A 3 hour shift minimum is preferred.
