School of Art + Design Photographer

 

Job description: Photographer needed to document School of Art + Design events and activities such as lectures, exhibitions, open studios, critiques, classes, workshops and more. Photographer will need to edit, organize, and share high resolution digital photos that will be used for web, social media, and print. A dedicated digital camera (Canon Rebel t6) and accessories are provided for this position if needed.

 

Qualifications: Expertise in digital photography and operating a digital camera and related photo editing programs such as Photoshop.  Reliable and responsible with the ability to work independently and also to take direction. Able to travel to off-campus UO buildings including 510 Oak & 942 Olive. Flexible schedule a plus!

School of Art + Design Designer

 

Job description: Designer needed to complete a variety of design tasks for the School of Art + Design events and activities such as the A+D newsletter, grad reviews, career day, and the Spring Storm exhibition logo/identity, related collateral and catalog.Work closely with A+D Director and Program Manager, the designer will brainstorm and create materials for events and activities for web, emails, social media graphics, digital ads, and print collateral. Designer will refine designs and incorporate feedback and ensure UO brand guidelines are followed. Designer will oversee the printing and distribution of designed materials when needed.

 

Qualifications: Expertise in using Adobe Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Reliable and responsible with the ability to work independently and also to take direction. Attention to detail required.  Being up to date on design trends is a plus!
