Artist Resilience Program

Artist Resilience Program announced final

The application is now live for the Artist Resilience Program, a second round of relief funding offered by the Oregon Arts Commission in partnership with Oregon Community Foundation and the James F. and Marion L. Miller Foundation. The partnership, which began with 2020’s Artist Relief Program, invests another $1.5 million in support for artists’ recovery from the pandemic.

Oregon’s professional artists were especially hard hit during the pandemic. Most of them rely on public events to sell their work, and the statewide shut down dramatically reduced their opportunities for income. Many were forced to give up their art to seek other means of supporting themselves.

Our artists reflect our humanity and our society in their work. They are important contributors to community vitality, wellbeing and enrichment.
