Student Film Seeking Student Sculptors!

My name is Cait Smith and I’m a senior in the Cinema Studies department. I’m working on a short film for the Art of Producing class called Brother Chris. My crew is in need of a sculpting artist to help with the project!

 We want to take a page from Wes Anderson’s book and create miniature-style props, like a dragon and tiny versions of two actors. These will be featured briefly in the film.

 I am open to collaborate with an artist in whatever medium they feel most inspired by. My greatest hope is to allow them the creative freedom to create something they are proud of. Due to the student-made nature of the project, the role is not compensated, but we will cover the costs of materials. The film will likely screen at festivals, so it’s a good opportunity for the artist to get their work seen by more people!

 We are scheduled to shoot the film during weeks 5-8, so there is unfortunately a quick turnaround time for creation.  I would be happy to provide more details about the production, you can email me at caits@uoregon.edu.
